This is Mr. Unlucky, one of Pen’s guys.  Most people presume the name is from unfortunate circumstances people find themselves in when coming across Mr. Unlucky.  Pen thinks it’s because he doesn’t have a goddamn face.

It just came to my attention today that people don’t typically get super nervous when they don’t know what time it is like what the fuck?

Some of Pen’s gang!  This one is Lefty.  He’s right handed, but he’s got a bad right leg so he walks with a limp and favors his left leg.

Did I mention there was a noir serial killer in Noir?  Because there is.

So since I’m getting into the whole “writing books” thing, I was thinking of all the ways and stories that could be turned into a book medium.  This guy (Mr. Mundane) was originally meant for a video game project for college, but I thought he could also work in a children’s book.
Not super sure what the basic plot would even be yet or even his personality, but he’s an escape artist (the series would be called The Extraordinary Escapes of Mr. Mundane).
Originally black and white in a 1920’s kind of esthetic, I decided to try color since I know kids in general have a thing against black and white movies (that and Mundane was often mistaken as a wolf when in a black/white color scheme).

starryevening:

for a lit class we had to write a poem, then recreate it with only nine visuals. The goal is to get across the theme of the poem to such a degree, that someone else could almost write the same poem you wrote.
